Original story below:
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Jen Shah has seen another reduction in her prison term.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate records, Shah, aged 51, is slated for release on November 3, 2026.
Last year, Shah’s sentence was previously cut from August 30, 2028, to December 19, 2027.
Shah and her former assistant Stuart Smith were apprehended in March 2021 for their alleged involvement in a telemarketing scheme that purportedly defrauded numerous victims aged 55 and older. While both initially entered pleas of not guilty, they later changed their pleas before going to trial.
Us Weekly confirmed in January 2023 that Shah was sentenced to six and a half years of imprisonment, which includes five years of supervised release. The Bravo star began serving her sentence in the following month at Bryan Prison Camp in Texas.
“Jen has been thriving—focusing on her personal development and committed to her journey of positive rehabilitation,” Shah’s representative noted in a December 2024 journal entry on her website. “Jen is currently focused on her upcoming holiday beauty showcase at FPC Bryan Prison and continues to extend love to her family, friends, and fans who consistently support her. She is grateful to everyone who keeps her in their thoughts and prayers.”
Shah’s representative also mentioned that she has “indeed communicated” with former RHOSLC costar Meredith Marks.
“The dialogue was exceptionally positive,” the diary entry stated. “She holds a lot of love for Meredith and values her friendship and backing during this period.”
Marks, aged 52, disclosed in November 2024 that she had a brief phone conversation with Shah.
“Jen reached out to me a few weeks back from prison,” she mentioned on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “It was my first call from a federal prison. She joked that I could check that off my bucket list, and she sounded quite well. The call is recorded and gets cut off, but she seems to be doing great.”
Shah and Marks were two of the original Housewives on RHOSLC when it debuted in 2020, alongside Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, and Heather Gay.
According to Shah’s friend Murilo Bueno, Marks has been the only RHOSLC star who has reached out to Shah during her time in prison.
“The only individual who has reached out to me to inquire about her well-being is Meredith,” Bueno revealed exclusively to Us in May 2023. “Other than that, nobody has contacted me, and I’m sure no one has reached out to her either.”
