Jesse Lally Trusts Michelle Saniei Will Make Wise Choices with Dr. Dre
The Valley’s Jesse Lally is not going to interfere with his ex-wife Michelle Saniei as she explores a relationship with Dr. Dre.
“We are officially divorced now. She can do whatever makes her happy,” Jesse, 46, told Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 8. “The only thing I ask is that she keeps our daughter safe and happy, especially after the chaos that followed the breakup with Aaron [Nosler] when they lived together.”
Before being spotted with Dre (real name Andre Romell Young), Michelle — who has a 6-year-old daughter, Isabella, with Jesse — was in a relationship with Aaron, 39. They ended their relationship in July 2025 after a year together.
“I’ll keep reminding her: ‘Michelle, take your time with this one,’” Jesse stated during his conversation with Us. “It’s important to be mindful of how our daughter feels about meeting new people.”
As far as Jesse knows, Michelle, 37, has not yet introduced the rapper and record producer to their daughter. Instead, they are gradually taking things and keeping matters private.
“She has the freedom to make her own choices, and I wish her well,” Jesse shared. “[She can take] whatever steps she wants to take, as long as Isabella remains a priority, which I strive to do.”
Michelle and Dre, 61, first attracted attention in April when they were seen holding hands at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California.
After connecting through a mutual friend, the couple is working to keep their relationship discreet and out of the limelight.
“We’re spending time together,” she told People in an interview published on June 16. “We truly enjoy each other’s company. For now, we’re keeping everything very private. I’m just living my life.”
Jesse, who is currently dating Lacy Nicole, admitted he was taken aback by this unexpected pairing but ultimately just wants Michelle to be happy.
“Honestly, I learned about it at the same time as everyone else did,” he revealed to Us. “At first, I thought it might be an AI-generated story like many others did.”
Regarding speculation that Dre might join the cast of The Valley, Jesse is skeptical about that idea.
“I did hear some podcasters suggesting he could remix the show’s theme song,” he joked. “I honestly don’t know if that will ever materialize.”
