Naomi Watts and Sarah Paulson Boldly Go Braless in Sheer Outfits
Hollywood legends Naomi Watts and Sarah Paulson made a striking appearance at the Paris premiere of All’s Fair, showcasing high drama and bold fashion choices with their eye-catching outfits.
The actresses both stole the spotlight on Tuesday, October 21, embracing the braless fashion movement with confidence.
Watts, aged 57, wowed in a daring sheer black lace top that revealed quite a bit. The high-neck design featured a plunging keyhole cutout just above the navel, paired with an avant-garde sculptural bubble skirt and a bow-tied coat.
She turned heads in a stunning Valentino Haute Couture piece, featuring a full black-and-white ensemble from Alessandro Michele’s Valentino Vertigineux collection. Black pointed-toe pumps complemented her textured blonde bob styled by Rebekah Forecast, and her standout look was curated by stylist Jeanann Williams. Her fabulous makeup was by Mary Wiles.
On the other hand, Paulson opted for her interpretation of the braless style, donning a soft yet sultry white Schiaparelli ensemble with a wraparound blouse layered over matching sheer trousers that hinted at her skin beneath, styled by Karla Welch.
The actress, 50, accessorized her outfit with layered gold-rimmed crystal jewelry, a slicked-back updo with micro bangs styled by hair expert Bridget Brager, and finished off with sleek black heels and an elegant clutch. Adam Breuchaud was responsible for her flawless makeup at the event.
The premiere was a star-studded event, also attended by co-stars including Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, and Niecy Nash-Betts. Additionally, it celebrated the 45th birthday of Kim Kardashian, who portrays Allura Grant on the legal drama. She dazzled in a mint-colored layered John Galliano for Dior gown made from embossed silk, featuring a zippered front and a low neckline.
Momager Kris Jenner accompanied her daughter on the red carpet, wearing a sophisticated black-and-white Oscar de la Renta silk taffeta gown. This show marks Kardashian’s newest scripted TV role after her appearance in American Horror Story: Delicate.
Paulson, who plays Carrington Lane in the series that follows a successful divorce lawyer heading an all-female law firm in Los Angeles, recently shared a favorite moment from filming.
“Probably my No. 1 memory is dressing up as Kim,” the American Horror Story star told Entertainment Tonight. “What you see in the trailer is just a small glimpse of what I do dressed as Kim.”
Paulson noted that Kardashian was “so game” for the transformation. “Nobody was more like, ‘This is the lip liner I use, this is the lip gloss, let’s get the hair color matched,’” she fondly recalled. “We really went all out, and she was like, ‘Do it.’”
“I think that’s a true testament to her extraordinary sense of play, humor, and all-around greatness,” Paulson added.
