North West Rocks a Zombie Aesthetic with Blue Lips and Face Piercings
North West is always eager to try out new styles.
North, 13, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and her former husband Kanye West, shared a video on TikTok on Wednesday, July 1, flaunting a bold new hairstyle and lip color.
“🧟♀️,” she wrote as her caption.
In the video, North danced around her room, showcasing her teal hair styled in two pigtails, the ends flowing down to her knees. She moved closer to the camera to reveal her full makeup look, which featured long false lashes, a hint of eyeshadow, and blue lips adorned with a skull design.
North completed her outfit with silver faux facial piercings, studded bracelets, and a black-and-white striped mini dress with a white collar embellished with crosses and lace details. She further accessorized with knee-high socks and shoes decorated with butterflies.
Kim, 45, discussed her approach to allowing North to express herself through fashion in January, sharing her views with her sister Khloé Kardashian during an episode of her podcast “Khloé in Wonderland.” She said, “I’m not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it.”

She continued, “No one knows what I go through unless they are in my shoes, managing various things from both the outer world and our close circle. Northie actually has many rules, but one area is that I do allow her to express herself, and I cherish that about her.” The Skims co-founder also mentioned that North has been sporting a “fake septum ring and colorful hair since she was in first grade.
Kim and Kanye, 49, welcomed North in June 2013, just a year after their marriage. They are also parents to sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, along with daughter Chicago, 8. Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce in November 2022.
