RHOM’s Alexia and Marysol Share Their Thoughts on Lisa and Jody Sleeping in Separate Beds
The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola consistently supports her co-stars’ honesty about their lives.
In a recent episode of Bravo’s popular reality series, Lisa Hochstein and her partner, Jody Glidden, surprised viewers by admitting that they sometimes sleep in separate bedrooms during their relationship.
At 58, Alexia believes that honesty with viewers is always the best approach.
“I appreciated Jody’s honesty. It’s important,” she shared exclusively with Us Weekly at the Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea Awards in New York on September 17. “Lisa might not have liked it since it was quite personal. However, I respected Jody for saying, ‘Many couples have similar issues and don’t share a bedroom some nights.’ I loved that he took responsibility and spoke openly about it.”
In a rare joint confessional interview with Lisa, 43, Jody confessed that external opinions can sometimes affect their relationship.
“Being in any relationship is challenging, but this one is incredibly tough,” Jody stated on the September 4 episode of RHOM, mentioning the constant “attacks” directed at both him and Lisa. “The recent one from Larsa [Pippen] was aimed at me and causes fights that lead to me having to sleep in another room.”
Lisa then playfully interjected, urging Jody to “shush” before shifting the conversation.
From Alexia’s viewpoint, she values a co-star being transparent about the complexities of their romantic journey.
“I believe they are genuinely in love,” she commented at City Winery. “But remember, these are real couples. It’s a genuine relationship, and to experience it on TV adds another layer of complexity. I appreciate their authenticity.”
During the Page Six annual awards event, Marysol Patton also showed her support for Lisa and Jody’s relationship.
“I hope they manage to resolve things and share the same bedroom again,” she stated to Us. “Well, maybe just occasionally. I really like Jody for her. I’m optimistic they’ll work it out. I’m sure things are fine by now, as that was during our filming last year.”
With The Real Housewives of Miami concluding its seventh season on Thursday, September 25, fans are excited for the upcoming three-part reunion special.
Following Guerdy Abraira’s previous hint to Us that something “historic” would occur, Alexia confirmed that a surprising story unfolds right in front of host Andy Cohen.
“It was unexpected, resembling an explosive show,” she noted prior to the release of the dramatic reunion trailer. “I don’t believe anything like this has happened before.”
Marysol, 58, added, “I think it’ll definitely present an interesting trajectory.”
The Real Housewives of Miami airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Past episodes are available for streaming on Peacock.
