This Meghan Markle-Approved ‘Super Hydrating’ Mascara is a Total Steal on Amazon and Has Become My Holy Grail!

I can’t help but be drawn to a beauty product that is considered a holy grail. While I do indulge in some luxury items that I haven’t discovered a better and more affordable alternative for – like you, Charlotte Tilbury – I also firmly believe that there are plenty of opportunities to save. 

For example, the Meghan Markle-approved Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara, £5.67 – and $14.99 at Amazon in the US – which I also keep in my beauty collection. The former actress was such a fan that she mentioned it to her Suits makeup artist during her time on the show – but more on that later. I’ve searched for better options but always find myself returning to this one!

It just so happens that the HELLO! Shopping team routinely browses Amazon for top beauty finds – and when I discovered that the Duchess of Sussex’s favorite mascara is on sale for even less, I knew I had to spread the word. It’s remarkable to get the beloved makeup staple of the Duchess for under £6 at the moment.

I can confirm that the Maybelline formula certainly lives up to the buzz. I’ve been a fan of this affordable mascara for a long time – both the Meghan-approved Lash Sensational Luscious and the Waterproof Lash Sensational, which is my go-to for summer swimming.

In fact, I rank this well-reviewed budget mascara alongside my more pricey favorites. It contains rose oil, safflower oil, and argan oil, making it feel like a nourishing treatment for my eyelashes as I apply it. Plus, it’s gentle on my sensitive eyes.

With just a couple of coats, my eyes gain an incredible effect with both volume and length, and it can be easily removed with soap and water.

So, how do we know that Meghan Markle has indeed used this cost-effective drugstore mascara?

Well, back in 2018 we spoke with Meghan’s former makeup artist Lydia Sellers, who worked with the Duchess of Sussex during her time on Suits.
