Who Portrays Dr. Langdon in HBO’s The Pitt? Introducing Newcomer Patrick Ball

HBO

Hollywood is filled with medical dramas, but HBO’s The Pitt offers a refreshing perspective on the classic hospital saga.

Noah Wyle, known for his role in ER, returns as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the top doctor on his shift. As the chief of the emergency department, Robby aims to maintain the ER’s efficiency, but the first season unfolds during a particularly challenging day – the five-year anniversary of the death of his former boss, Montgomery Adamson, who succumbed to COVID-19. (And yes, this is just the first season, with each episode capturing an hour of Robby’s 15-hour shift.)

The initial two episodes, which debuted on HBO on January 9, also introduce viewers to several other ER staff members, including the resident Dr. Frank Langdon, played by newcomer Patrick Ball.

So far, not much is known about Dr. Langdon, aside from his sassy demeanor and the fact he recently adopted a dog for his 4-year-old, much to the annoyance of his colleagues. However, as the series progresses, more details about him will hopefully emerge.

For now, here’s what Us has discovered about the charming new actor with the sparkling blue eyes. Continue reading for five interesting facts about him:
