WWE Superstar Roman Reigns’ Notable Family Connections: The Rock and More
The Bloodline narrative is a significant facet of WWE history, with Roman Reigns prominently featured at its core.
Reigns, born Leati Joseph Anoaʻi and referred to as the “Original Tribal Chief,” hails from the illustrious Anoa’i family, a lineage that has produced numerous professional wrestlers since the 1960s. This family lineage originated from Peter Maivia and Amituana’i Anoa’i, two close friends who took a blood oath to unite their families into what you might call a bloodline.
Over the years, the family has expanded, giving rise to many siblings, cousins, and other notable figures who have left their mark in the realm of professional wrestling with varying degrees of success. Continue reading to discover more about the renowned wrestlers Roman Reigns considers family.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Dwayne and Reigns are distantly related, though not by blood, both being members of the Anoa’i lineage from the Samoan Islands. They often refer to each other as cousins. Despite not being biologically related, he is acknowledged as a full family member.
