“Duck Dynasty” Is Making a Comeback: Meet the Cast Members Returning!

The Robertsons are making their much-anticipated return to reality TV, eight years after concluding their beloved show, “Duck Dynasty,” which aired for 11 seasons on A&E.

Titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” this reboot will provide an update on the Robertson family, which has seen substantial growth in recent years, now introducing a whole new generation of great-grandchildren.

Originally airing on A&E in 2012, “Duck Dynasty” showcased the daily lives of the Robertsons, a Louisiana family running a duck-hunting enterprise called Duck Commander. The series spotlighted their tight-knit, multigenerational family and their humorous antics.

In 2013, the patriarch of the family, Phil Robertson, faced backlash due to his controversial comments on homosexuality and racism, leading A&E to temporarily suspend him from the series before he eventually returned.

In December 2024, Phil Robertson’s family disclosed that he was showing early signs of Alzheimer’s disease.

As excitement builds for the revival series, here’s what we know so far.

When will ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’ be released?

Fans won’t have to wait long for the return of the reality series. “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” is expected to premiere in the summer of 2025, although a specific release date has yet to be announced.

The upcoming series will feature a total of 20 one-hour episodes across two seasons.

Where can you watch the reboot?

Episodes of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” will first be broadcast on A&E. Following the conclusion of each season, episodes will be accessible on a “major streaming service,” according to a press release.

Who will be part of the new series?

The original “Duck Dynasty” series included the entire Robertson family, featuring Phil and Kay Robertson and their sons Willie, Jase, and Jep, along with occasional appearances from their son Alan. Phil’s brother, affectionately known as “Uncle Si,” was also a beloved character.

A&E has confirmed that many cast members from the original show will reprise their roles in the reboot, including Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson, as well as Kay Robertson, Uncle Si, and other cherished family members. (Please note that Phil Robertson will not be involved in the revival.)

Willie and Korie’s children—John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca—will also be featured along with their respective families.

“Returning to A&E feels like coming back home. We are grateful for all the support as our family has grown and are excited to start filming again, showcasing our new adventures—or maybe misadventures,” said Willie and Korie Robertson in a statement.

Willie, Korie, and John Luke Robertson will take on the role of executive producers for the project.

What will the focus of the show be?

“Duck Dynasty: The Revival” will chronicle the Robertsons as their family and business continue to flourish.

“As their dynasty expands beyond just ducks, Willie and Korie will infuse their signature humor and family dynamics as they navigate the future of Duck Commander, while their kids embark on their journeys into marriage, parenting, and entrepreneurship, all while preserving the family legacy,” the press release states.
