How Candace Cameron Bure’s Daughter Shared Her Pregnancy News with Her Parents
Natasha Bure Perry shared the heartwarming moment when she told her mom Candace Cameron Bure and dad Valeri Bure that they’re going to be grandparents.
“We were in fact, not kidding 😂🫶🏼❤️ This baby is so loved already!!!!” Natasha, 27, wrote in an Instagram Reel posted on Tuesday, May 26. “We hadn’t planned to reveal it during this trip, but after arriving, my symptoms were quite evident, and I realized I couldn’t keep it a secret for the entire weekend.”
Natasha mentioned that she and her husband Bradley Steven Perry quickly devised a pregnancy reveal plan.
“Their flight landed just an hour after ours—so about 10 minutes before they showed up, we RANNN to the gift shop, hoping to find something baby-related,” she explained. “We settled on a cute onesie, some snow boots, and a beanie. We arranged them on a chair and called them to our room.”
Natasha continued, “They were utterly shocked and excited, to say the least! I don’t think my dad even fully grasped what was happening; he was just surprised to see my mom so surprised about anything. We couldn’t stop laughing; it was truly the sweetest moment ever 🥲 I can’t even count how many times I’ve rewatched this video.”
In the clip, Natasha showcased the blue onesie, child-sized snowboots, and the beanie. She had set them on a chair before her parents entered their room. As Candace, 50, walked in, she immediately noticed the items.
“Wait, what?” Candace exclaimed with excitement. “Are you joking? You must be joking.”
Candace kept asking if her daughter was “for real,” while Valeri, 51, happily remained silent. Valeri offered Candace a high-five before embracing his daughter.
“We’re pregnant!” Natasha announced as she and Bradley, 27, hugged her parents.
Candace was overjoyed by the news, jokingly contemplating her retirement plans.
“I need to clear my agenda. I don’t want to work another day in my life,” she quipped. “I’m really getting a grandbaby!”
Earlier this month, Natasha announced that she and Bradley are expecting their first child.
“Our dream role 🐣,” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post.
Candace expressed her joy in the post, saying, “CandyGram in full effect 🤗❤️.”
Weeks later, Candace expressed that she was “over the moon” about becoming a grandma just after celebrating her 50th birthday.
“I’ve been looking forward to this day,” she said during a social media Q&A. “I always wanted to become a grandparent in my 40s—but celebrating it during my 50th year is perfect!!”
