The Academy Award-winning actor welcomed his first child, Corinne, in February 1994 with former partner Connie Kline. He became a father for the second time when his second daughter, Anelise, was born in October 2008, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis.
Throughout the years, Foxx has shared insights about his experience as a girl dad, expressing what it’s like to witness his daughters growing into young women.
“Your daughters are remarkable, man. Your daughters are remarkable. As a father, you want anyone who dates your daughter to understand that they might not survive the experience,” the star of Law Abiding Citizen humorously remarked during an April 2021 interview on E!’s Daily Pop.
