Jason Tartick expresses “no regrets” about transitioning from one dog to two.

“I can’t stop smiling thinking about him,” Tartick shared exclusively with Us Weekly regarding his new dog, Teddy, while promoting his collaboration with Ziploc and the Preserved Promos initiative. He added that expanding his family with his new furry companion has been “the most rewarding thing in the world.”

“I can’t wait until this meeting is over, and then I’m going to head right upstairs to take him for a walk,” he remarked. “He is truly the joy of my life right now.”

The reality star mentioned that meeting Teddy felt “like fate” when he visited the local animal rescue. Tartick had intended to volunteer at a nearby shelter, so he told Us he “started googling places in Nashville, reached out to one, and it was that very day that he was there.”

The star further expressed that Teddy “saved me as much as I saved him.”

Tartick, who has recently partnered with Ziploc, also discussed the importance of financial literacy and transparency—topics he believes should be destigmatized. “It’s fine to not be perfect,” he stated. “Most of us aren’t. Let’s have discussions about what we could implement. The problem currently is that we weren’t taught anything about money in school, and we definitely weren’t taught how to discuss it.”

If individuals engage in conversations about finances “in a healthy manner,” he added, he believes “people can draw inspiration from someone else’s success” and will want to “learn more” about managing their finances.

Tartick and Ziploc are teaming up to change the narrative on expired food promotions. From March 10 to April 7, shoppers can visit PreservedPromos.com to trade in expired promo codes from retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, and others.

Tartick also mentioned to Us that among his reality TV friends, Tyler Cameron stands out for making wise financial choices following his television success.

“Tyler has done an excellent job of continuing his contracting work, which he was practicing during his promo on The Bachelorette, just like his dad did,” Tartick explained. “Now he has a TV show based on that. So when you see people from the franchise embracing who they are and being authentic, they open the door to numerous new opportunities.”

He also highlighted Kelsey Anderson, who he described as “hilarious and relatable,” as another alum who has “been really successful in stepping into that and building a brand around her unique qualities.”
