Kylie Kelce Opens Up About Her Daughters’ Views on Family Fame
Kylie Kelce is sharing how her and Jason Kelce‘s four daughters are influenced by their family’s “fame.”
“First of all, yuck,” Kylie, 34, remarked on the Thursday, June 4, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast while addressing fan questions.
Kylie noted that her children—Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 14 months—have embraced the situation with a sense of humor.
“They find it amusing that when we’re out, people ask, ‘Are you Jason Kelce?’” she elaborated. “Then, when we get home, they mimic it by saying, ‘Are you Jason Kelce?’ Sometimes, we catch them playing a game among themselves, excluding adults, where they pretend to be fans asking for pictures.”
Jason, 38, had a successful 13-season career with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 to 2023, while his brother, Travis Kelce, also plays in the NFL as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kylie has gained a massive social media following with her podcast, which launched in 2024.
Despite the family’s fame, Kylie shared a different viewpoint as a parent, saying, “I don’t like that our kids have picked up on this. Obviously, they notice when they go out with their dad, and it makes me sad that this is their reality.”
Kylie emphasized, “I want them to have as normal an upbringing as possible, and we strive to create some separation when we can.”
While her daughters usually “find it hilarious” that their family is recognized, Kylie revealed that her eldest has shown some unease with the attention.
“Occasionally, Wyatt will feel uncomfortable when someone is either discussing us or staring,” she explained. “She recently glared at a group of young women who were loudly chatting across the street from us and said, ‘They are not taking a picture with my dad.’”
Kylie asserted, “Most of the time, they find it funny and entertaining, but sometimes they don’t. I believe we should generally keep them out of it. Okay? Great, let’s do that.”
While Kylie and Jason have become cherished local figures during his 13-year NFL tenure, their visibility skyrocketed when Travis, 36, began dating Taylor Swift in 2023. The couple got engaged last year, but Kylie is tight-lipped about the wedding plans.
“Before I dive into your questions, I just want to address everyone—though I know it comes from a good place, not always—please stop asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials,” she mentioned on her podcast in April. “Nobody’s f***ing sharing anything! Even if I did have information, I wouldn’t tell you. That’s family business. So A and B, C your way out.”
