The 36-year-old singer of “About Damn Time” posted two photos of herself on Instagram on Sunday, January 5, showcasing her in a revealing black bikini and a black shirt that boldly proclaimed, “F— you.”

Lizzo accompanied the images with a powerful mantra intended for the year ahead: “2025 is the year of keeping the vibration on a higher frequency than what the world tries to lower it to,” she expressed. “Don’t subscribe to the bulls— just to make others feel comfortable 🤭 live truthfully and don’t hold back— it’s your world!”

Lizzo proudly shared her weight loss journey, refuting claims that it was due to Ozempic. “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo, 36, shared in a social media video on Friday, September 20. In the clip, Lizzo (real name Melissa Jefferson) showcased her progress in a fun way.

This social media update underscored Lizzo’s new era of self-confidence as she displays her figure online while addressing Ozempic speculation head-on.

Throughout early 2024, various online users linked Lizzo’s weight loss to GLP-1 medications, which are typically prescribed for those battling obesity. Such assumptions continued even after Lizzo told The New York Times in an April 2023 interview that she had been “methodical, losing weight very slowly.”

In response to the rising rumors, Lizzo directly addressed them in September 2024. “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” she stated via social media at that time.

In a bold move, she even dressed as Ozempic packaging for Halloween, showcasing her costume on Instagram on October 26, 2024, captioning it “LizzOzempic dump.”

Her clever rebuttal was highlighted by her dazzling costume adorned with her name in large block letters, a tape measure cinched around her waist to symbolize her slim-down, along with a fake slice of pizza as a lighthearted prop.
