Milo Ventimiglia’s Wife Offers a Sneak Peek into Parenting Life

Milo Ventimiglia‘s spouse Jarah Mariano recently provided a rare insight into their parenting journey as the couple prepares for the arrival of their second child.

On Saturday, June 13, Mariano, 42, took to her Instagram to share a collection of photos featuring the This Is Us star and their 18-month-old daughter, Ke’ala.

One heartwarming picture showed Mariano cradling Ke’ala as she reached out to touch a horse.

Another photo captured Ventimiglia, 48, with Ke’ala safely strapped to his back, accompanied by a dog in front of him.

Additional images highlighted Mariano’s growing baby bump as they prepare for their second child. Ke’ala’s face was intentionally hidden in all the photos, likely to maintain her privacy.

“Here are some different glimpses from the first half of 2026 in no specific order. Just being present, being grateful, just being. Sending love to all of you,” Mariano captioned the post.

The couple welcomed Ke’ala in January 2025, shortly after their Malibu home was lost in devastating California wildfires. A year later, they announced their second pregnancy.

The Gilmore Girls alum appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in February, discussing his transition into fatherhood and humorously noting that they “must be crazy” to have a second child so soon.

“She’s actually doing great. She sleeps through the night. She loves waking up at 5:40 AM and talking to herself, just jabbering away. My wife and I lie in bed like, ‘Does she have her [pacifier]?’ ‘I don’t know. I can’t tell from the monitor.’ ‘Did she poop herself?’ ‘I don’t know. I can’t tell from the monitor,’” he shared. “And eventually, you realize you have to go check. You walk in, and you’re relieved to see she didn’t poop herself, and she’s got her [pacifier], so everything’s good.”

Milo Ventimiglia has truly embraced fatherhood. “I hang with my kid,” he mentioned during the Thursday, February 19 episode of Annie F. Downs’ podcast, “That Sounds Fun.” “[I’m] just watching my daughter, as she observes life and explores her curiosity.” His wife, Jarah Mariano, gave birth to their daughter, […]

Ventimiglia expressed that he initially envisioned being a “wonder-parent,” but had to adjust his expectations after an eventful year.

“Honestly, my wife is extraordinary — Jarah, if you’re watching, you are unbelievable. You handle everything remarkably well. But, when you become a first-time parent, you expect to become a ‘wonder-parent,’” he elaborated.

He continued, “I wanted to be the best. We were going to feed our baby organic; we were going to have all the best gear. But after a while, you realize, ‘Wow, it’s been quite a journey.’”
