Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva: A Peek into Their Family Album
Richard Gere has frequently expressed his joy about raising his sons with wife Alejandra Silva and ex-wife Carey Lowell.
Gere and Lowell, who are parents to son Homer, were married in 2002 but split nearly 11 years later. Before that, Gere was previously married to Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995. He later began a relationship with Silva. In 2018, Us Weekly confirmed that the couple had quietly tied the knot during a private civil ceremony that April after dating for three years. (Lowell, additionally, shares daughter Hannah Dunne with her ex-husband Griffin Dunne.)
Silva also coparents son Albert, born in December 2012, with her ex-husband Govind Friedland. In August 2018, she and Gere revealed that they were expecting their first child together, and their son Alexander arrived in February 2019. Almost a year later, Silva welcomed another baby boy, Jamie.
Gere, Silva, and their blended family maintain a relatively private lifestyle at their estate in Pound Ridge, New York. Silva has, however, shared some glimpses of her family through Instagram.
